Let's Discover Ohio was originally written in 1978 by fourth grade teachers, Janine Montgomery and Kathy Akers. Their goal was to meet the Ohio history needs of children in the State of Ohio, and to provide elementary students with a "readable" and enjoyable textbook.

Since it's first publication in the late 70's, Let's Discover Ohio has consistently been updated and refined to it's present 2001 copyright. This hard back student text contains many interesting and detailed illustrations, including Native Americans, Pioneers, Presidents, maps, timelines and MORE!

The teacher's edition is a valuable compliment to the student text and offers additional activities, answers and chapter tests.
